After coming out, walk west for about 400 meters, then turn right and walk north for about 700 meters, passing through Tiananmen Square to reach the Meridian Gate of the Palace Museum. After entering, you can look for spots along the Forbidden City’s fence to take photos.
Take Line 1 of the subway and get off at Tiananmen East Station, Exit B.
