After being guided to the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area Visitor Center, you need to purchase admission tickets and bus tickets. Take the scenic area bus to Zhaiguan Village, which is about a 1-hour ride. After getting off, take a 5-kilometer shuttle bus from Zhaiguan Village and then walk for about 20 minutes to Luorong Pasture. From there, it’s a 4.9-kilometer hike, which takes about 3 hours, to Milk Lake. Along the way, you’ll pass Gongga Lake. After taking photos at Milk Lake, continue hiking for about 30 minutes to reach Wusisi Lake, the highest point in the scenic area at 4,700 meters. After taking photos, head back down the mountain.
