Walking Guide

Take the No. 2 bus and get off at Tiananmen East. Then walk 25 meters east along East Chang'an Avenue, turn right and walk 49 meters south, turn right again and walk 149 meters west, turn right and walk 112 meters north, turn left and walk 203 meters west, and finally turn right and walk 88 meters north to reach the Tiananmen Tower. Once inside the tower, you can see the traditional Chinese palace lanterns at the top.
