Walking Guide

The Waterworks Pavilion is located within the Western Buildings Scenic Area of the Old Summer Palace (Yuanmingyuan) in Beijing. After entering from the South Gate of the Old Summer Palace, follow the main road north, pass by Lake Fuhai, and continue on to the Western Buildings area. Follow the signs along the way to find it. To get there by metro, take Line 4 (Daxing Line) to Yuanmingyuan Station and exit from Exit B or C. It's about a 15-minute walk from the station to the South Gate of the Old Summer Palace.
