The model is by the city wall, and the photographer is on the opposite side, framing the entire figure of the model, along with the city wall, the sky, and the background.

1. Travel Tips: It's recommended to go early in the morning when it's cooler and less crowded, providing a better climbing experience.
2. Dressing Tips: It's best to travel light and wear comfortable shoes to avoid tiring out your feet during the climb.
3. Additional Tips:
① Bring plenty of water and food.
② Apply sunscreen as it gets very hot and sunny on the mountain with little shade.
③ I recommend climbing the Northern Great Wall because it offers the best views from the highest point, and the climb isn’t too strenuous. The Northern Great Wall also has a heroes' stele.

Walking Guide

Take the cable car to the location shown in the photo, and then climb for just a few more minutes to reach the eighth tower of the Great Wall to the north.

You can take bus No. 87 from Deshengmen Bus Station to Badaling Great Wall directly, or you can take the suburban train S2 line to Badaling Station, and then walk or take the cable car to the North Four Tower of the Great Wall. From there, you can easily reach the North Eight Tower and find your way along the wall.
