You can drive directly to the Five Pavilion Bridge in Slender West Lake, or take a high-speed train/regular train to Yangzhou East Station/Yangzhou Station and then transfer to a tourist shuttle bus (both stations are outside the city center, approximately 10 kilometers from Slender West Lake). There is no subway in the city, but the distances between attractions are short and taxis are readily available. Once you arrive, there are benches on both sides of the Five Pavilion Bridge overlooking the lake.
