Walking Guide

I recommend taking Line 1 of the subway and getting off at Tiananmen East or Tiananmen West Station, or taking a taxi and getting off at Donghuamen to enter the Palace Museum.

The Wenhua Palace is located on the east side of the outer court's Taihe Hall Square, to the east of Xiehe Gate, opposite the Wuying Palace to the west. After entering the Forbidden City through the Meridian Gate, head in the eastern direction, and you will reach the Wenhua Palace.
