1. Positioning: The photographer should crouch to get a low angle, shooting at eye level to ensure that the lilac flowers take up the lower one-third of the frame, with the Wenchang Pavilion located in the center or along the rule of thirds lines.
2. Composition: Use a shallow focus technique, blurring the lilac flowers in the foreground to highlight the Wenchang Pavilion in the distance, enhancing the depth of the image.
3. Lens Focal Length: It is recommended to use a camera with a 70-200mm telephoto lens or a smartphone with 3x-5x zoom to compress the space, emphasizing the relationship between the Wenchang Pavilion and the foreground lilacs.
4. Outfit Suggestions: Opt for light-colored clothing (such as cream, light blue, or soft pink) paired with floral dresses, straw hats, or transparent umbrellas to enhance the mood.
5. Additional Tips: It is best to shoot before 10 a.m. or after 4 p.m. when the light is softer.

Walking Guide

After entering Gate 6, head up the hill on the path to your right. This route has a gentle slope, making it not too strenuous. Along the way, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Garden Museum and Yongding Pagoda at the highest point. After passing the Yongding Pagoda, follow the signs to Wenyuan Pavilion. To the left of Wenyuan Pavilion, there are two viewing platforms where you can look out over the Wenchang Pavilion. From the viewing platforms, follow the steps down to Peach Blossom Valley, and then continue up the mountain path to reach Wenchang Pavilion.
