Using the rule of thirds for composition, place the magnolia flowers on the left third and the eaves of the palace on the right third to create a balanced and layered image. Use a 24-70mm focal length lens with an aperture of f5.6 - f8.0 to ensure harmonious proportions and sharp details.

1. Travel tips: Mid-March to early April is the peak blooming season when the flowers are at their best. It is recommended to shoot before 10 a.m. or after 4 p.m. when the light is soft, resulting in better photos.

2. Other experiences: The ancient architecture is intertwined with blooming magnolias, with red walls and palaces complementing the abundant flowers. The sense of historical depth perfectly blends with the freshness of spring, creating a long-lasting and charming scene. Strolling through the garden, every casual snapshot captures a stunning masterpiece.

Walking Guide

After exiting at Exit C (Southeast) of Yonghegong Station on Subway Line 2 and 5, walk straight ahead and follow Andingmen Wai Street southward. At the first intersection (Ditan East Gate intersection), turn left and head towards the Ditan East Gate. After entering the East Gate of Ditan Park, walk straight for about 200 meters. You'll see a small path to your left leading deeper into the park. Turn left and follow this path, passing by some trees and benches. Continue walking, and you'll soon see a red wall ahead. Next to the red wall, you'll find the blooming magnolias.
