You can buy a high-speed rail ticket to She County East Station, which is closer, and then take a taxi for about $18 to Xidi. From Xidi to Hongcun, you can take a bus for $1 per person. After entering the Hongcun scenic area, start from the South Lake entrance and walk north along the main tourist route, passing the Moon Pond. Then head northeast, passing through some ancient residences and alleys. Look out for the sign indicating "Tian Deng Canteen," as the Fu Lai Koi decoration is nearby and generally quite noticeable.
