Take the Line 2 subway to "Shenwu Gate Station," and exit at B. Walk to Shenwu Gate and enter the Forbidden City. Follow the central axis to visit the main palaces in sequence: the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Central Harmony, the Hall of Preserving Harmony, the Palace of Heavenly Purity, the Hall of Union, and the Palace of Earthly Tranquility.
