In Shangri-La's ancient city, you can take bus route 3 or 16 to get there. For route 3, board at the "Jiantang Police Station" bus stop, ride for 11 stops, about 26 minutes, and get off at "Gulong Songzanlin Temple," then walk approximately 220 meters. For route 16, board at the "Ancient City Commercial Street" bus stop, ride for 15 stops, about 35 minutes, and get off at the "Songzanlin Temple" bus stop, then walk approximately 107 meters. Both routes will take you directly to the foot of the Songzanlin Temple mountain.
