Walking Guide

Take the Subway Line 4/Daxing Line from National Library Station and get off at Yuanmingyuan Station. After exiting the station, it’s about a 5-minute walk to the south gate of the景区 (scenic area). Enter Yuanmingyuan and turn right, then walk north along the rightmost path for about 2 kilometers. At the end, turn left and walk for about 400 meters. The Western-style Buildings (Xiyanglou) area is located in the northeastern part of Yuanmingyuan, near the Grand Waterworks (Daheshui) site. Adjust your angle for the best photo at the ruins.
