Take Line 1 of the Suzhou Metro and get off at Xiangmen Station. Exit from Gate 3 and walk west along Ganjiang East Road for about 800 meters to reach the southern entrance of the Pingjiang Road Historic District. Once you enter from the southern entrance, stroll north along Pingjiang Road. The scene in the photo with the river and buildings in the same frame is likely to be found in the middle to later sections of Pingjiang Road. Continue along the stone-paved path, and pay attention to the buildings on both sides of the river. When you encounter a bridge, cross it to get a similar overhead view from the bridge.
