Walking Guide

Go up two flights of stairs to the highest platform, then turn left to reach the central pavilion.

Turn right and walk about 200 meters to reach the rest pavilion.

Enter the Summer Palace through the North Gate, walk straight for 250 meters, and pass through the Cifu Archway.

Turn left and walk about 200 meters. The entrance to Painted Boat will be on your left.

The best spot for taking photos is by the red pillar to the left front of the central pavilion.

Walk through the pavilion and continue for 200 meters to the sign on the left.

Follow the stone steps through the cave to the sign.

After reaching the highest point, turn right.

Go straight ahead to the right and up the steps on the right side.
