Take the Metro Line 14 and get off at Changyi Road Station or Xiepu Road Station. Exit from Gate 6 at Changyi Road Station and you can walk or bike to the destination. Alternatively, exit from Gate 4 at Xiepu Road Station, follow the directions to Xiepu Road Ferry Dock. It’s about a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride. Once you reach the ferry dock, walk about 100 meters to the left to find the spiral staircase. From the staircase, use the spiral viewing platform as the foreground, and include the trees, lights, and the background scenery of the river, city buildings, and the Yangpu Bridge in your shot to achieve a similar effect. This spot also offers a good angle for taking overhead shots of the illuminated Lujiazui trio.
