In Datong city, you can take bus routes 3 or 12 and get off at the Yungang Grottoes stop. After entering the Yungang Grottoes scenic area, follow the main road until you find Grotto No. 5. Once you reach Grotto No. 5, the spot for taking photos is right at the bottom of the stairs in front of the grotto.
