You can have the photographer shoot from below at the railing to avoid the crowds; shooting from the opposite bank of the river also creates a great atmosphere. 

Travel Tips: It’s recommended to visit in the afternoon or evening, as the photos taken during the night tour are better. However, to protect the Longmen Grottoes, the Buddha will not be lit up at night, so the nighttime scenery is not as good as it was a few years ago.

Photography Props: Be sure to wear a pair of sunglasses, especially in the summer when the sun is so strong that it’s hard to keep your eyes open, which can greatly affect the quality of your photos.

Outfit Suggestions: It’s recommended to wear a modern Chinese cheongsam or mamian skirt.
