Use a flat shooting angle to highlight the three-dimensionality of the sculpture and the background architecture, placing the Space Day mascot sculpture in the center of the frame to ensure the subject is clear and prominent. The framing should include the main body of the sculpture, the circular lawn walkway, and the modern glass buildings in the background, while retaining the surrounding greenery to enhance the sense of environmental depth. It is recommended to use a wide-angle lens to capture the full scene and spatial relationships.

The photographer stands in the square directly in front of the building, using a low-angle shot to highlight the grandeur of the architecture. The composition is symmetrical, with the left and right walls of the building evenly distributed. The central logo and the words "Nautical College" are placed in the center of the frame, emphasizing the subject with central composition. The shot includes the full view of the building, with a blue sky in the background and the square ground at the bottom, and appropriately retains the walls on both sides to show the complete building and a sense of space.

When shooting, you can use a wide-angle lens to showcase the grand layout of the temple, or use a telephoto lens to capture architectural details and changes in light and shadow. In the evening, the soft sunlight can better capture the tranquil beauty of the temple.

Shooting equipment: both mobile phones and cameras are suitable. Mobile phones can turn on HDR mode to enhance the texture of the image; cameras can choose a 16-35mm focal length, with an aperture setting around f/8, to obtain a clear and layered image.

Xi’an Xiangji Temple – Monastery Gate

The photographer, positioned at a high-rise building, captures the scene from a slightly lowered angle, using a central composition to place the large sculpture in the foreground at the center of the frame, drawing the viewer's attention and becoming the focal point of the image. Additionally, sculptures in the green space in the distance echo and complement the main subject. Other tips: At He Zun Square, one can take individual photos of the He Zun and the sculptures, or use He Zun as a foreground to capture the stone carvings. The front and side angles are both suitable for shooting, and a wide-angle lens can capture the entire scene.
