The model stands by the lakeside, watching the sunset, with a drone hovering high behind for an aerial shot. Positioned among the reeds, the model faces the sunset with arms outstretched, using central composition with the model at the center and lower part of the frame. Sunlight reflects off the lake's surface, naturally extending lines towards the sunset, guiding the viewer's focus to the subject. The scene includes the foreground reeds, midground model, background lake and sunset, and distant towers, enhancing the sense of depth. Travel tip: It's recommended to shoot during sunset for a more atmospheric feel.

Xi’an Caoquyi – Aerial Reed Sunset

Use a low-angle shot with the entrance archway as the foreground frame to highlight the top vines and flowers as well as the "Roman District" sign. Ensure that the greenery is evenly distributed on both sides of the archway, with the sign centrally located in the frame. Include the fountain under the arch and distant buildings in the composition to enhance the sense of depth. Utilize a mid-telephoto focal length to compress the background, making the elements appear more compact and avoiding clutter.

Roman Town – Entrance Arch & Fountain

It is recommended that the photographer stands in the front part of the reed marsh, capturing the scene from a horizontal perspective, allowing the reeds to naturally connect with the distant landscape. By using the vertical lines of the reeds and the horizontal lines of the distant view (such as bridges), a sense of depth and layering can be highlighted.

1. Travel Tips: The best time for photography is from 15:00 to 17:00.
2. Dressing Advice: It is suggested to wear white or red clothing to avoid blending in with the reed background.
3. Additional Experiences:
   ① It is recommended to choose a sunny afternoon, which is especially suitable for watching the sunset;
   ② The reed marshes are scattered, allowing for photography while walking.

Caoquyi – Reeds & Distant Scenery

Captured from a low angle, the reed marsh by the water serves as the primary subject. Grasses dominate the main part of the frame, creating a rich sense of depth. The water in the background complements the plants, creating a fresh and natural atmosphere. The overall composition is balanced and full of vitality. A standard lens is used to clearly capture the form, color of the reeds, and the texture of the water, conveying a scene filled with natural freshness and tranquility.

Best time for photography: It is recommended to visit on a sunny day.

Utilize the artistic "Xi'an" calligraphy and the antique tree stump as backdrops, with the model interacting beside the characters or gently touching the fonts and leaning against the tree stump. The photographer should use a mid-range focal length to highlight the details of the text and the interaction with the person.

Xi’an Expo Park – Chang’an Tower

1. Utilize architectural lines: By leveraging symmetrical structures of buildings (such as door frames, steps), place the subject at the intersection of lines to enhance the sense of order in the image, echoing with the angel sculpture.

2. Clothing coordination: Light-colored clothing (such as white dresses) matches European-style architecture, highlighting a holy and elegant atmosphere, which complements the temperament of the sculpture more.

3. Pose design: Try a quiet posture (such as hands placed in front) to show dignity, or slightly angle the body towards the camera, using the depth of the building to create a sense of story, contrasting the static of the figure with the "dynamic" of the sculpture (wings, torch) to enrich the visual hierarchy.

4. Light control: Choose to shoot in soft light to avoid harsh shadows formed by strong light on buildings and sculptures, allowing the subject to blend more naturally with the scene and highlighting the texture of the image.

Roman Town – Angel-Stair Sculpture
